Fracture

Fractures are partial or complete breaks to a bone. With more than 206 bones in the body, they can be fairly common. A fracture may be open (in which the bone breaks through the skin) or closed (in which the skin remains closed), and often needs immediate attention.

The skilled team at GLOC carefully, yet quickly, assesses and develops a plan for fracture care, bringing together a team of experienced physicians, physician assistants, physical therapists and orthotic specialists right on-site at our Traverse City location.

Great Lakes Orthopaedic Center has earned a reputation as a leader in fracture care in Northern Michigan. Our qualified team of top specialists is continually training and developing advancements in treatments to help reduce pain, promote healing and prevent complications. The result is minimized recovery time and maximized strength for patients.
