Join Dr. Norman Licht of Great Lakes Orthopaedic Center as he presents “Walking Away From Bunions,” a FREE seminar being held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at the GLOC offices in Traverse City, MI.

Bunions are a painful foot condition that can affect both men and women of all ages (although most common in women). Characterized by the noticeable bulge at the base of the big toe, a bunion is an enlargement of the big toe joint due to the displacement of bone or tissue in that joint. If left untreated, bunions can present severe discomfort and deformity.

Dr. Licht is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in foot and ankle care and surgery. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his patients and the public alike. “I take into consideration the whole musculoskeletal system rather than just one part,” says Dr. Licht. Along with delving deeper into what a bunion is, Dr. Licht will uncover their causes as well as the latest treatment options available to patients in Northern Michigan. Light refreshments will be served.
